Letting it melt in your mouth will transport your senses to the lush rainforest, where the rain awakens the aromas of the surrounding flora with each moment. This passionfruit grows in our neighboring project ASOANE, which is also committed to regenerative agriculture. We take pride in working with them and supporting their project.

    I wonder if more cacao butter in it would make it creamier

    Mashpi Chocolate Passionfruit and Black Pepper Bar

    First off I need to make the blanket statement that I seriously love all the amazing and creative connections that Mashpi Chocolate produces. This bar, of course, is no exception, but they're literally all amazing. I've had the incredibly good fortune to tour the farm where they grow their cacao (and other fruits that go into the bars) and, on-site, turn it into the most velvety and intensely chocolatey chocolate I've ever tasted. And the entire completely organic operation is an incredible story of land rehabilitation and conservation in the biologically mega-diverse but imperilled northwest Ecuador rainforest zone. Do yourself and the planet a favor and try all of the bars!!!
